Sunday School
Three adult classes meet on Sunday morning.

The Men's Bible Class meet in the library at 8:45 a.m. and are studying Titus and then will move on to 2 Corinthians by John MacArthur.

Current Christianity meets at 9:00 a.m. in room 8 and uses books to explore contemporary Christian topics.

The Stepping Out in Faith class, led by Rev. Pat Abrams, meets in the Bride's Room at 9:00 a.m. in person and via Zoom. They are studying Paul for Everyone: 1 Corinthians by N. T. Wright. For Zoom information, email the coordinator.
Children and youth classes met September to May. Junior and senior high students are using the Faith Questions series and elementary children are using the Growing in God’s Love series.
Brown Bag and Bible
Brown Bag and Bible is a weekly Bible study led by the pastor that meets on Wednesday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Bring a lunch and gather early to eat.

The current study is Genesis: Greatest Hits.
Brunch and Book Group
The Brunch and Book Group meets once a month in Fellowship Hall and on Zoom on the third Saturday at 10:00 a.m. for lively discussions on a book selected by the group.

Chain Stitchers
Chain Stitchers meet weekly on Thursday at noon and 6:00 p.m. to make quilts, runners, and other sewing projects. Everyone is welcome regardless of skill level.
Cut-Ups
Cut-Ups is a fun loving group that meets on the first Monday of the month at 1:00 to do arts or crafts. The group meets at 11:30 for lunch at different restaurants. The members decide the project for each month.
First Sunday Lunch
First Sunday Lunch is an opportunity to share good food and friendship following worship in Fellowship Hall. This usually occurs on the first Sunday of each month. Most of the time everyone brings food to share. For special events, there may be barbeque or a hot dog lunch. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Intercessory Prayer Group
The Intercessory Prayer Group meets weekly on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the library to pray for concerns of members, the community, and the world.
Men on the Move
The men of the church meet regularly for Bible study and fellowship. They maintain the building, grounds, and community garden. Annually they go to Mo-Ranch to do service projects. Women are invited to help, too.
Music in Worship
Music is an important part of our worship experience. Whether you sing or play an instrument, you are welcome. There is an adult choir, intergenerational bell choir, and opportunities for individual instrumentalists.

Choir practice is on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the choir room behind the sanctuary.

Bell choir practice is on Sunday at 12:15 p.m. in room 8.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
The Prayer Shawl Ministry meets weekly to crochet and knit, teach others these skills, and pray for others. The results of their efforts are prayer shawls that are gifted to those who are going through a hard time and warm hats and scarfs for the homeless and seafarers coming into the Port of Houston.
This group is currently meeting on Wednesday at 1:00-2:30 p.m.
Presbyterian Women
Presbyterian Women gather for Bible study and prayer, to support missions, to work for justice and peace, and to build an inclusive, caring community of women.

The study for 2024-2025 is Let Justice Roll Down: God's Call to Care for Neighbors and All Creation by Patricia K. Tull.
Yoga
Yoga is offered every Tuesday and Thursday under the instruction of Carey Coker. Chair yoga begins at 5:00 p.m. and mat yoga begins at 6:15 p.m. There is a $5.00 charge per session. Please bring water and a mat for mat yoga. Classes meet in Fellowship Hall, unless otherwise posted.
Young at Heart
Young at Heart meets in Fellowship Hall on the third Thursday of each month at 10:00 a.m. to play games or to go on field trips, and always to eat! This is a great group of people, aged 55 or older, who kick up their heels and enjoy the journey!
